Why do I need love?
Or at least I feel like I do
Is it because I’m love sick with a bug I caught from you ?
Couldn’t be because I’m sure that I’m way past over you
The doctor told me I’m fine, so why do I still feel scorned from you ?

Why do I need love ?
Is it just the feeling that I miss ?
To have someone on call whenever I wanna kiss?
Something about that feeling, that everlasting bliss
When you have someone to love, and someone to miss

Why do I need love?
Is it because I’m weak ?
Not nearly strong enough to stand on my 2 feet ?
Is this the reason why forever love I will seek ?
I’m crying for an answer somebody please talk to me

I know why I need love
It’s quite obvious now
I need to find it in myself, the best love around
I need time for myself, to heal those scars deep down
I can’t love another until in my love, I drown.

For then I’ll be revived with a new feeling of life
And no more will I feel empty, or like a pie with a missing slice
So if ever I feel no love in return
At least I know I have a back up love to which I can turn
